1989The 60th annual McIntosh reunion was held Sunday, September 18, 1989, at Lacey Keosauqua State Park. The attendance was 60 people. After a delicious meal our president Jody Zumdome called our business meeting to order. Minutes were read and approved. The treasury report was $168.99 in bank. Bills to be paid were $26.00 for lodge rent, $20.00 for cake, and $23.00 for Lenora McIntosh’s flowers. Sherry Huss made motion to pay bills, and Francis McIntosh seconded it. Next came election of officers for the next 2 years.
The winner for being the best dressed was Francis W. McIntosh of Corona, California, in his kilt. His prize was $5.00 and he donated it back to our treasury. He also gave an interesting talk on our customs and the clan. Linda Armstrong made the motion to close the meeting and Duane Barker seconded it. Jeneale Zumdome
1988The 59th annual reunion of the McIntosh clan was held on September 18, 1988. We gathered at the home of Vincent and Jeneale Zumdome farm. for a picnic lunch. Everyone bought in a covered dish and Jeneale and Vince 7iimdome furnished the pork and chicken. The Zumdome boys cooked the meat and it was excellent. After the meal there was an egg throwing contest with two age divisions. Winners were Melissa Harvey and Melissa’s father Paul Armstrong.Each received a small prize. Joey Zumdome and Jimmy Harkey also won and received a prize. The two youngest players received a prize too. They were Jennifer Schmitz and Danelle Kelly. Following the egg throwing contest we held our business meeting with Vice-President Teresa Schmidt, Secretary Ellyn Freitag, and Treasurer Rusty Robbins. The minutes were read and approved. The Treasurer gave his report with saying we had $142.62 in saving as of right then without paying bills for today’s reunion. In new business Lealin Boecker suggested replacing an old McIntosh marker at the Center Chapel Cemetery. She said she had thought it was some of our ancestors, George and Isabelle McIntosh. We had some discussion. Alice Robbins made motion for Lealin to check into who it was for sure and how much money it would take for a stone to be replaced. Jeneale Zumdome seconded it. The 1989 -reunion will be held in Keosauqua and will be our 60th reunion. Louise House donated her time to making the arrangements and will get back with the secretary so she can send out reminders. There was some discussion for something different for our 60th reunion. Margaret Gray suggested dress in plaid. Then Linda Armstrong made motion for who ever wanted to dress up could and there would be a prize for the best man and woman costumes. Alice Robbins seconded it. Also in discussion there wanted to be a decorated cake made for the 60th reunion and Louise House said she would take care of that also. There was no other discussion Linda Armstrong made motion to adjourn the meeting. Duck (the Dog) seconded it then Jim McIntosh finished the seconded. Weddings

1987The 58th annual reunion of the McIntosh clan was held on September 20, 1987. We gathered and had a carry in dinner at the lodge in Lacey Keosauqua State Park. After a delicious meal and some visiting, our president, Sherry Huss, called our business meeting to order. The main topic of our meeting was the election of officers. All officers with the exception of Treasurer Rusty Robbins declined to take their respective offices again. The feeling of the officers was to let other members of the clan take an active part. The newly elected President is Jody Zumdome, Vice President Teresa Schmitz, Secretary Ellyn Freitag and Treasurer Rusty Robbins. These officers are elected and will serve two years. The minutes of our very first reunion which was in 1927 were read and discussed. Each member at the reunion today introduced themselves and told which line they were descended from. Minutes from our previous year were read and approved. Russell Martin and LeNora McIntosh were the oldest man and woman present this year. Chasta Marie and Paul Schmitz were the youngest girl and boy. John, Tammy, and Aaron Clark came the greatest distance this year. It was also reported that Jarrod McIntosh, son of Bill and Joyce McIntosh enlisted in the United States Navy on September 1, 1987. The treasurer’s report was given by Rusty Robbins. Bills were allowed for stamps and lodge rental. Our 1988 reunion will be held at Vince and Jeneale Zumdome’s farm or Tim and Patti Zumdome’s home. Secretary Ellyn Freitag will send out reminders of the date which will be Sunday September 18, 1988. The meeting was adjourned and the families enjoyed several lively games of bingo. Weddings

1986The 57th annual reunion of the McIntosh Clan was held on Sunday, September 21, 1986 at the farm home of Vince and Jeaneal Zumdome. The 65 members of the clan and their invited guests enjoyed a hog roasted and donated by the Zumdome men. Following the carry in meal and the hog roast President Sherry Huss called the business meeting to order. Secretary Linda Armstrong read the minutes for the previous reunion, they were corrected and approved as read. Corrections made were the following. Danielle Kelly born August 7, 1985 to John and Lisa Kelly. Due to the resignation of our treasurer Liz Robbins a motion was made by Margaret Gray and seconded by Bobbie Boyd that Rusty Robbins take over the office of treasurer. Motion passed, Rusty has the option of deciding where he would like to have our funds deposited. He decided to have our deposit under McIntosh Reunion with the account number being 12549869 at the Iowa State Bank in Ft. Madison, Iowa. Rusty gave the treasurer's report and asked for bills to be presented at this time. There were no bills presented at this time due to the generosity of several clan members. Alice Dell Robbins made the coffee and tea. Jeaneal Zumdome, the maps, and stamps. Lloyd Gray donated the envelopes and cards. It was voted to again play bingo and to withdraw $50.00 out of the treasury to use as prizes. Rusty Robbins will be in charge of the bingo games. Certificates Awarded
The 58th reunion of the McIntosh clan will be held on Sunday, September 20, 1987 at the Keosauqua Senior Citizens building with Margaret Gray being in charge of the necessary arrangements. 1985The 56th annual reunion of the McIntosh Clan was held on Sunday September 15, 1985 at the Keosauqua Senior Citizen Building. A total of 65 relatives and friends gathered for a delicious carry in meal. Following the meal President Sherry Huss called the business meeting to order. Secretary Linda Armstrong read the previous year’s minutes and they were approved as read. Election of officers was very brief due to a motion by Leland Boecker and a second by Bill McIntosh. The motion being that the present officers carry on for another term which is two years. The motion passed. They are as follows: President Sherry Huss, Vice President and Secretary Linda Armstrong, and treasurer A discussion was held on leaving the clan's money in the bank at Farmington so that it might draw a little interest. Motion passed. It was voted on by members to use $50 of the money at our 1986 reunion playing bingo. Rusty Robbins is to be in charge. Secretary Armstrong is to send him a card reminding him to bring the necessary bingo cards etc. Certificates Awarded
Treasurer's report read and approved. Bills as follows: hall rental $10, postage stamps and cards $10, and memorial $15. Francis McIntosh made the motion to pay the bills, seconded and passed. There was no old business. New business brought to the floor a motion Weddings
Louise House made motion and seconded by Bill McIntosh to adjourn the business meeting. The group cleaned the hall and settled down for an interesting slide show. Francis McIntosh our clan's official genealogist showed slides that he had taken in Scotland and other places in Europe. Mr. McIntosh was dressed in the McIntosh hunting tartan. This kilt has 8 yards of wool and is basically green with red and gold plaid. The McIntosh family is the main branch of the Clan Chattan. The rest of the afternoon was spent visiting and urging the clan to attend next year’s reunion which is in Ft. Madison. Linda D. Armstrong
1984The 55th annual reunion of the McIntosh Clan was held on Sunday, September 16, 1984 at the Rodeo Park shelter in Fort Madison, Iowa. We had a total of 45 members present. The blessing was given by Jeaneale Zumdome and a carry in meal was served at noon. This year we enjoyed a catfish fry which was caught and fried by Harold Robbins. It was a welcome treat for many of the clan and was greatly appreciated by the clan. After the delicious meal the business meeting was called to order by the president, Sherry Huss. The minutes of the 55th meeting were read by Linda Armstrong and the corrections were made. Due to ill health Margaret Gray resigned her position as secretary and Linda Armstrong was voted to take the position for the remainder of the term. The treasurer's report was given by Liz Robbins with a carry over balance of $125.18. There were no bills as Harold and Alice Dell Robbins donated the coffee and the lemonade. Linda and Paul Armstrong also presented the clan with a new notebook and all of the previous minutes typed and filed in order. The secretary also donated the post cards and the postage for sending out reminder cards. A goodwill offering was taken and the total came to $39.38 and that brought the total to $164.56. It was moved and seconded to deposit the money in the bank at Fort Madison so that it might draw a little interest over the year. It was moved and seconded to withdraw $50 and to use it as prize money when we play bingo at our next year’s reunion. In a bit of trivia it was noted that Tim Zumdome was celebrating his 25th birthday today and that Linda and Paul Armstrong were celebrating their 15th wedding anniversary. Also mentioned was the fact that Margaret Helen McIntosh-Gray was the only one present from the original charter member family. The 56th reunion of the clan will be held on September 15, 1985 at the American Legion Hall in Keosauqua, Iowa. Margaret and Lloyd Gray will be in charge of renting the hall. Alice Dell Robbins will make the coffee and Rusty Robbins will be in charge of the entertainment which will be bingo. 1983Sixty-three members and guests of the McIntosh Clan gathered at the American Legion Hall in Keosauqua, Iowa on September 18, 1983 for their 54th reunion. The blessing was given by Jeaneale Zumdome and a delicious meal was served. President Mark Zumdome called the business meeting to order. The secretary's report was given by Wanda Zumdome. Several additions were added, those being birth and death notices. The treasurer's report was given by Stevie Harkey. Bills were paid. Duane Barker paid $15.00 for the Legion Hall, so this years total is $124.18. The 55th reunion will be held at Rodeo Park in Fort Madison, Iowa on September 16, 1984. The oldest woman present was Edith McIntosh and the oldest man was Jene McIntosh. The youngest girl was Kathy Harkey, and the youngest boy was Matthew Boyd. The farthest distance traveled was Bobbie and Frances from Des Moines. The largest family there was Vincent and Jeaneale Zumdome with 14 people. The election for 1984-1985 was started. 1982The 53rd reunion of the McIntosh Clan gathered at Rodeo Park Fort Madison, Iowa on September 19, 1982 with an attendance of 42 members and guests. The blessing was given by Margaret Gray and a delicious meal was served. President Mark Zumdome called the business meeting to order. The secretary's report was given by Wanda Zumdome. Several additions were added. Births and deaths. The treasurer's report was given by Stevie Harkey. Bills were paid. $20.00 was used in memories of Lola Martin for the Senior Citizens in Keosauqua, Iowa. Offering total was $102.68. The 54th reunion will be held at the American Legion Hall in Keosauqua on September 18, 1983. Bobbie Boyd motioned to adjourned the meeting and Linda Armstrong seconded. The door prizes were donated from Greg Zumdome and went to the following: Ellen Freitag, Alice Dell Robbins, Linn Schmitz, Jim McIntosh, Michelle Armstrong, Missy Armstrong, Amy Armstrong, John Robbins, Lori Freitag, and Bill Harkey.

1981Sixty members and guests of the McIntosh Clan gathered in the Legion Hall in Keosauqua, Iowa on September 20, 1981 for their 52nd reunion. This was an improvement of approximately 16 from the previous year. Duane Barker gave the blessing and the families then shared a cooperative meal. President Bill McIntosh called the business meeting to order. The secretary's report was given by Linda Armstrong. There were no corrections but, several additions, those were deaths, births, and marriages. The treasurer's report was given by Jeaneale Zumdome. Bills were paid and the offering was $38.43. New business brought election of officers. Bobbie Boyd nominated Mark Zumdome, seconded by Duane Barker. Nominations ceased and Mark is the new President. Jody Zumdome was the only candidate for vice president, we had a tie for secretary, those were Wanda Zumdome and Stevie Harkey. A coin was flipped and Wanda took the job of secretary and Stevie took the treasurer's office. The 53rd reunion will be held at Rodeo Park in Fort Madison on September 19, 1982. Jeaneale is in charge of securing the shelter. Alice Dell Robbins will see to the coffee, tea, and the koolaid. The secretary will send out reminder cards to everyone about a month ahead of time. President McIntosh thanked everyone for attending and urges them to go to Fort Madison next year. Duane Barker passed out gifts, those went to: Jamie Boyd the youngest girl, Eric Freitag the youngest boy, Dr. J.A. McIntosh and his wife Edith were the oldest man and woman present. Margaret Gray had the most family members, with 12, all three of her children and their families in attendance. 1980The 51st reunion of the McIntosh clan was held on Sunday, September 21, 1980, at the shelter in Fort Madison, Iowa. We had 44 present, an improvement of ten from the previous year. The blessing was given and a delicious cooperative meal was served. Several adults and children enjoyed a softball game at a nearby ball diamond. Due to the absence of our President, Bill McIntosh and the vice president, Marvin Boecker, Jeneale Zumdome presided at our business meeting. The minutes of our 1979 meeting were read by our secretary, Linda Armstrong. There was no old business. Our treasurer, Jeneale Zumdome gave her report on our financial standing. A carry-over balance of $61.10 from 1979 and we had no bills presented. We discussed the idea of not picking up a collection as we had so much money in the treasury. The idea was quickly vetoed and a collection of $25.65 was taken up. A donation of $5.00 was sent by Bill McIntosh who was unable to attend this year. The following things were donated: The fee of the shelter rental by Greg Zumdome, coffee, tea, and Kool-Aid by Alice Dell Robbins. Flowers and vases by Mary Jane Harkey, and post cards by Linda D. Armstrong. The flowers which served as center pieces were given by Mary Jane to names that were drawn. Duane Barker, who was unable to attend sent down several gifts to be used as door prizes. Everyone thanked those people for donating their time and the shelter etc. A few of those receiving gifts were: Lola Martin, Harold Robbins, Mrs. Edith McIntosh the oldest woman present and her husband Dr. J.A. McIntosh the oldest man present. Eva Robbins came the greatest distance. Margaret Gray had the largest family. Jamie Boyd was the youngest girl, and Billy Harkey was the youngest boy. Greg Zumdome bought gifts that were given away according to different age groups. Each person was registered as they arrived. Amy Armstrong drew out the names. Those receiving the gifts were: Paul Armstrong, Lloyd Gray, Linda, Tony, and Michele Armstrong, Ellyn Freitag and Amy Armstrong. Weddings
