of me, where my grand father was born. they came to Australia
after world war II. I know there is still lots of relos in
Scotland. It is good to see some clan history out there. If
anyone wants some Genealogy, just e-mail me and I'll try to fill
you in. Good to see a home page for our principal clan of Chattan!

information you provide!-Lance Dahl Clanna Nan McDhai I have no Irish blood, but mainly Dutch. Curious? Check out
my home page at http://www.worldaccess.nl/~yntze See you there! This is great My mother is looking for information about my Great
Grandfather, Peter and wife Abie, from Scotland in the early
1800's. It has been a pleasure visiting this site. Hopefully my two
sons will do likewise. One of them (together with his wife, of
course) just expanded this McIntosh Clan with twin Boys: Colin
& Quinlan. Last week four generations of us Macs met in
Denver (My father, my two sons and my twin grandsons)! Most of my
clan beyond my father hail from Nova Scotia. I have a cousin up
there (Winston McIntosh) who has devoted much time to researching
our genealogy. Please welcome the newest additions to the Clan McIntosh,
my twin sons Colin Sanders and Quinlan Earl; born May 1996 to
myself and Leslie Denise McIntosh. I'm trying to find some connections to my maiden name
(Hosick). I was happy to find a reference to it on your web page. My father developed a genealogy of his family: James
Forsaith Mackintosh b1910 Boston Mass; son of Albert Ira
Mackintosh born Pitcou Co. Nova Scotia; son of James Mackintosh
of Nova Scotia; son of William Mackintosh who came to Nova Scotia
from Scotland. Will dig up more details upon request. Great page. Thanks for your time and effort. I am looking for any Ritchie's or anyone else who knows of
how this surname has changed here in the US or Canada!!! From
"Ritchie" to Ritch or to just Rich. Thanks and hope to
see you at the 96 Highland Games in Pleasanton Would like to read more about the McIntosh Clan, I have
just started a family tree and my father says we originate from
Inverness. Would like to get more info cheers... All you Mackintoshes are going to have to make room for the
DALLAS Sept and the others that got you there!!!:) I will tell my
brothers, Robert Bruce & Lee Alexander about your great Web
page. If any others with the great Dallas name come searching for
background, email me. I have Dallas's in the backwoods of B.C.
and the jungles of Trinidad and I'll be telling them about this
great page, too! I'm amazed how many McIntoshes live in the States. I was
born in Aberdeen, Scotland, but now live in the land of the
sassenachs! For you heathens, that means the English. I'd love to
hear from other McIntoshes. Do write. I'm glad to see there is a place where we can track our
history on the internet. Just married into the McIntosh family. Proud to be a new
member!! I'm looking forward to learning more about all the
Scottish traditions. Proud to a McIntosh! I am looking for any information on family related to Peter
Ira Mcintosh 1774-1867, or John McIntosh who brought the McIntosh
apple to Canada. While doing research on my family tree I found several
grave stones with willow trees carved on them. I want to find out
why? I might be able to figure it out. I will hopefully let you
know. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Found this site most interesting. Have a great-grandmother
Margret reputed to be a MacIntosh. Married David Logan who was
from Edinburgh and she from Glasgow. He was born ca. 1810. All I
have of her is her signature on back of his picture. Family came
to Ont., Perth Co. then to Comber, Essex Co., ON. Note a great
many McIntosh families of Canadian origin. Keep the messages up. I was adopted and recently discovered I am a MacIntosh.
