Thursday-Night Team Meals
(Varsity Only)
On game weeks, families host Thursday-night
dinners for Varsity position groups. Varsity parents need to
see
Julianne Drost for
information on how to sign up online, let your players know
the details, and get together with other families to share
the effort and the fun! (Players pay for their meals
as they arrive.)

Reading With the Eagles
On eight game-day Thursday mornings, Varsity players,
trainers, and managers (joined by Varsity cheerleaders and mascots)
get up extra early to travel to two Allen elementary schools to read
with the younger students. Their audiences hear stories read
aloud by the Eagles but also learn how working hard in school is
especially important to Allen athletes. The elementary
students crowd around to ask a million questions about football,
what these specific Eagles want to do when they grow up, and
anything else that enters their minds. (Eagles, remember to bring a
pen; the kids love to get your autograph on every imaginable item.)
