Spring/Summer Calendar 2012

• Spring Ball —April 30 through May 25

• May 15—8th grade Meet the Eagle Coaches Night—
  6:00 p.m. in the Lowery Freshman Center cafeteria.  Incoming Freshman families can find out what they need to know about becoming part of the Allen Eagle football tradition...and then stay to watch the annual Night Practice after the meeting!

• May 15—Night Practice—7:00 p.m. at old Eagle Stadium (Varsity and JV).  Admission: free.

• May 23—Spring Game—at old Eagle Stadium
  (JV 5:30, Varsity 7:00).  Admission: free.

• Athletic pre-participation physicals must be completed after May 1, 2012, to be current for the 2012-2013 school year.  AISD will NOT be conducting physicals at the Athletic Facility this year; instead, athletes should see their family physician or visit a clinic such as Acute Kids Care or CareNow.  See the AISD Athletics web page to download the required physical packet to take to your provider.

• June 25—Allen Sports Hall of Honor Golf Tournament—8:00 a.m. at Twin Creeks Golf Course

• August 6-9—Freshman Football Camp—6:00-9:00 p.m. at old Eagle Stadium.  Preregistration and $35 fee required; see AISD's Allen Eagle Sports Camps web page.

• August 13—Preseason practice begins

• August 17—Team and individual photos (morning; time TBA)

• August 17—Annual Kickoff Social—7:00 p.m. in the AHS cafeteria

• August 23—Kickoff Pep Rally—7:00 p.m. in new Eagle Stadium

• August 27—First day of school

• August 31—Season Opener in new Eagle Stadium—7:30 p.m. kickoff vs. Southlake Carroll Dragons
